Bulgaria's demographic transition model and issues:

Bulgaria is currently in neither of the MEDC or LEDC countries but in the middle. Knowing that Bulgaria was recently inducted into Europe, the country is still developing.

One of Bulgaria's main issue is the illegal drugs; it is very vulnerable to money laundry related to drug businesses and corruption. This major worldwide problem, may be another contributing reason of the death rate having in mind that dangerous and mortal drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, heroine, LSD are introduced into the country.
