I N T R O D U C T I O N


Australia is a country found in the continent of Oceania and its capital is Canberra. In 1829, it was claimed as British territory
after two hundred years of being explored by Europeans. It made a major contribution to the British during
the two world wars. Since then, Australia has become an international competitive, advanced market economy
with one of the fastest growing economies during the 1900s and it is listed as a MEDC. Located between the Indian Ocean and the
South Pacific Ocean, Australia is found near countries like New Zealand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and others.
It has an area of 7,741,220 sq km and completely surrounded by water with the biggest coral reef in the world.

Since Australia had one of the fastest growing economies in the 1900s, the population has been able to grow rapidlybecause people are no longer afraid they'll have to live in poverty because since the country has a goodeconomy, there are many jobs available and people are not desperate because jobs are more stable.

Birth Rate: 12.28 births/1,000 population
Because of Australia's great economy, people have started to study and become less ignorant. They havestable, good paying jobs so they are now able to have kids with no concerns due to the amountof money coming in and they now feel ready to have kids.
Death Rate: 6.94 deaths/1,000 population
The death rate in Australia is very low; economy has played a huge part on the education of people in Australia,making them more educated in a way that they now know that stealing and killing isn't good, and a good life can be achieved if they work. People no longer have the necessity to kill others— causing less deaths. Also,because of the health care and life insurances they now have access to.
Net Migration Rate: 5.93 migrant(s)/1,000 population
Since Australia's economy is really good, the people are welcoming and it is rich in nature and diversity,it has attracted many people from all across the world to go live in and migrate to Australia. Australia has people from many countries from around the world residing there. The top 5 being English, Chinese, Indian, Kiwi (from New Zealand) and Italians.Australia has the resources to not only sustain its own people, but migrators too; providing great opportunities for everyone.

Infant Mortality Rate: male: 4.87 deaths/1,000 live births | female: 4.21 deaths/1,000 live births | total: 4.55 deaths/1,000 live births
In Australia, since women are provided with a good health care, and right information on dos and don'ts during pregnancy because of their good education, the infant mortality rate is very low. Meaning very few babies die. Also, good doctors and nurses are provided and take good take care of any kind of situation that might happen.
Population Growth Rate: 1.126%
Applying every information we have on birth, death, migration, and infant mortality rate, we can conclude that thereasons why Australia's population growth rate is such, is because of all the reasons written above inall those rates. Being good education, good health care, etc. So the economy is growing quite fast.

Life Expectancy: male: 79.48 years | female: 84.45 years | total: 81.9 years
The life expectancy in Australia is pretty high. This is because people have less to worry about and have access to a good health care and life insurance so they live longer and better lives. Also, elderly people have an advantageover others and are given privileges so they don't have to make a huge effort.
Doubling Time: 62.2 years
In the next 62.2 years, in 2074, Australia's population will go from 22,015,576 to 44,031,152.
